Jeremy Stanley, P.E. provides structural engineering services for new, remodel, and retrofit projects including residential, commercial, and hospitality facilities. Jeremy works in partnership with local design professionals, architects, and contractors serving the San Francisco Bay Area, Marin and Sonoma Counties. His projects range in size and complexity from custom residences, to small and medium sized commercial spaces, and seismic retrofit of existing buildings.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic University, with an emphasis on structural engineering, and offers a breadth and depth of engineering expertise to his clients and their projects. While studying at Cal Poly, Jeremy worked with Dr. Charles Chadwell researching the seismic instability of portable wine barrel stacks, building full scale models and testing by simulation. Their peer-reviewed work was presented at the 8th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering in San Francisco, CA. Jeremy's experience includes his work with: Summit Engineering, a Sonoma and Napa County winery and hospitality consulting firm, and Weir Andrewson Associates of Marin County, specializing in forensic investigations of building failures and design in high-end residential as well as light commercial, and municipal projects. Jeremy is professionally licensed in California and Washington. Prior to attending Cal Poly, he served in the U.S. Airforce, under the aerospace maintenance program.
Jeremy understands the importance of developing practical and buildable engineering solutions. He enjoys working closely with his clients and their design team, helping them to realize their unique goals and creative vision. Jeremy brings seventeen years of professional, hands on design experience.
