A modern community center built on compressible soils using a mat "raft" foundation. Lateral loads are braced by conventional plywood shear walls. The roof is framed with open web i-joists spanning the width of the building. As the Weir Andrewson Associates Project Engineer, Jeremy provided engineering design and construction phase services.
